We put the original band back together for the 20 year anniversary of Happy Outside and played the record at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia. Proceeds from the night went to charity.

The second set was songs Derek Fuhrmann wrote for other artists, including Phillip Phillips, the Goo Goo Dolls, Kygo, and O.A.R.

The show lined up with an archival re-release of Happy Outside, remastered and expanded with bonus tracks and new artwork.

I tracked live drums for Brad Cox’s Veteran Avenue project on the single "Nothing Left to Burn." Tony Correlli produced and engineered.

I played bass on "A Night in Hell & A Sunday Morning" with Tony Correlli at The Deep End Studio.

I had played drums and bass on the band’s late 1990s records, so this was a good excuse to get back in a room with them.

I co-founded a working band that moved from the regional club circuit into corporate events, universities, weddings, private parties, and seven night runs at Sloppy Joe’s in Key West.

We played as many as three shows a week to click tracks and live sequences that I built and ran from the kit. Our last show was New Year’s Eve 2015, and we played it into the first hour of 2016.

A Philadelphia punk rock band I played in alongside The Crash Motive, built around heavy live improvisation.

We won a battle of the bands at the North Star Bar in Philadelphia and opened for Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders.

Omnisoul signed a multi album deal with Wind-up Records and became The Crash Motive. We toured nationally and opened for Sugar Ray, Collective Soul, Lifehouse, The B-52s, and The All-American Rejects.

We tracked at Avatar Studios in New York City and The Pass in Los Angeles with producers and engineers including Don Gilmore, Gregg Wattenberg, and Nick DiDia.

Consequence came out in 2007 and we filmed a video in Los Angeles. Placements from those years include Madden NFL 07, the Super Bowl XLII broadcast, network television, national radio, and stadium playback.

We built the band out of the college circuit in Delaware and pushed it into label showcases and radio.

"Waiting (Save Your Life)" ran in heavy rotation on 93.7 WSTW for more than a year and set a station record for the most requested song.

Phil Nicolo produced the early demos that got the major labels interested. We opened for Sugar Ray and played showcases across New York City.

Happy Outside came out in 2004, and we landed a song on Fantastic 4: The Album in 2005.

An experimental jam band that grew out of the University of Delaware scene. We packed Newark rooms like the Deer Park Tavern and The East End Cafe.

We shared bills with The Disco Biscuits and Lake Trout and played Phish’s Camp Oswego festival.

Long improvised sets taught me to listen and shape dynamics in real time. That is still how I approach a take.

I started tracking drums and bass for independent regional alt rock projects while playing club dates, including the early Skitzo Calypso records.
